February Newsletter
Welcome to our February newsletter: contains an article on planning to be healthy and a shout out to the fabulous practitioners out there who would love to join our team...  We'd love to hear your ideas about what we should include in these newsletters too...

 

 

It Doesn't Just Happen! Plan To Be Healthy!

Most of us take our health for granted - until we get sick - and even then the moment we feel better we go back to our wicked (ill-health creating) ways!

 

We tell ourselves:

  • I'll start that diet tomorrow
  • I've gotta do some exercise - later!
  • I should quit smoking!
  • This is the last time I eat junk, wait...no...this is the last time...no...this is!

 

Well...we all know...good health is usually NOT the result of poor lifestyle choices.

 

Good health IS the result of CHOOSING to be a person who makes health giving decisions, and then DOING things that actually MAKE YOUR BODY FEEL GREAT!

 

Unfortunately, vibrant health does not seem to happen by default.

You have to make it happen.

You have to do the things NOW that create wellness later.

 

PLAN

P - PURPOSE

  • get some good reasons to be vibrantly healthy
  • why should you do those things you keep promising to do to be healthy?
  • find something to get excited about
  • what excites you about being healthy?

 

L - LEARN

  • learn
from your past
  • you know what doesn't work
  • you know what makes you fat, unfit, unwell
  • learn
what makes you fabulous, fit and well?
  • ask yourself "what can I do to get and stay well?"
  • learn

from health professionals such as NATUROPATHS, PERSONAL TRAINERS, KINESIOLOGISTS, MASSAGE THERAPISTS, MEDITATION AND YOGA TEACHERS, FELDENKRAIS PRACTITIONERS

  • take action
  • do something for yourself everyday that is a step towards better health
  • you deserve it!

 

N - NOW or NEVER

  • do it NOW, not later, do it NOW!
  • NEVER give up
  • keep on going - it is worth it - you are worth it!
