Our small friendly classes will help you to reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility and improve posture. The Feldenkrais Method is unlike yoga, pilates or other group classes, as it works with your nervous system and draws on principles of neuroplasticity, bio-mechanics, physics, early childhood development and various social sciences. Group Feldenkrais classes are very gentle and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. They can help people ranging from elite athletes and dancers, through to people suffering from arthritis and chronic pain, through to ordinary people who simply want to feel more comfortable sitting at their desk, bending down in the garden or reaching for a coffee cup!

Emotional Freedom Technique

The Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT is an approach to healing based on the discovery that: “The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
The energy system mentioned is the meridian pathways that have been known in Chinese acupuncture for thousands of years. There are no needles in EFT; instead we use gentle tapping of the finger tips to clear disruptions in the energy system and leading to such benefits as pain relief, lifting of depression, calming anxiety, release of trauma, new thoughts and improved self-image.
EFT evolved from Dr. Roger Callahan’s Thought Field Therapy (TFT) more than 10 years ago. EFT Founder Gary Craig applied scientific testing to simplify TFT into a process which is easy for everyone to learn and self apply.
